Client Spotlight
This month we focus on a client: In-CarPC providing a full featured in-car executive office, all round family entertainment and satellite navigation.

In-CarPC Logo
We install fully functional Windows-based computers into cars and other vehicles, to provide a complete mobile communications and infotainment solution. Our computers can carry out the functions of almost any electronic car gadget on the market, such as satellite navigation, a hands-free phone system and mp3 & DVD playback, but can also run Windows applications and access the internet via high speed 3G mobile phone networks. This allows our customers to do so much more than they could with a standard in-car entertainment system, including having emails read out loud to them as they drive, and the ability to use Skype wherever they are. The PC runs Windows XP or Vista, and is controlled via a touch sensitive screen that can automatically fold back into the dashboard when the car is parked.

We provide a mobile installation service and also offer a wide range of more common car accessories, such as hands-free kits and iPod adapters.

Our website has a page where people can get a quote for a car computer with the exact options that they want, and their choices are then emailed to us. Martin has created an Excel spreadsheet that automatically imports this data for us, which greatly reduces the time it takes for us to prepare quotes.

Dr. Seuss Explains Why Computers Sometimes Crash!

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!!

If the label on the cable on the table at your house says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer! down the hall, and your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse; then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang!'

When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and the macro code instructions cause unnecessary risk, then you'll have to flash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM. Quickly turn off the computer and get the hell out of town!
